9.0The place was very nice, kempt. Parking was good.
− The jacuzzi was not working. One room downstairs had a door with a hinge missing. There are very few utensils (as in only 1 knife which didn't even cut well). Minor issues which I'm sure can be easily resolved.

6.0− The property is stunning, however it requires a lot of maintenance. We were told that we could not use the jacuzzi and if we wanted to an additional cost of R1500 was required which I don’t think is fair considering how much it costs per night

Very disappointing experience,I do not recommend this place.
1.0Nothing!
− We had a very disappointing experience at Villa Monachre. There was a prolonged electricity outage (over 10 hours) and we were never informed beforehand that the property does not have a backup system during load shedding. This made it impossible for us to cook, iron, or properly enjoy our stay. Our food also spoiled due to lack of refrigeration. To make matters worse, the agent was not responding on time, and the caretaker was nowhere to be found, despite being told there is a 24-hour front desk. We had to leave without proper assistance and struggled to return the keys or get our damage deposit back. Overall, the lack of communication, poor service, and absence of contingency planning made this stay a waste of time and money.
