Espaço muito bem decorado, confortável e equipado com todas as valências necessárias para uma excelente estadia. O jardim é absolutamente lindíssimo, muito bem cuidado, com uma grande diversidade de plantas ornamentais e palmeiras oriundas de várias partes do mundo, criando um ambiente único e relaxante. A piscina é enorme, sendo perfeita para momentos de descontração. O campo de ténis proporcionou também vários momentos de diversão ao longo da estadia. A villa está muito bem situada, perto de tudo o que é necessário, incluindo restaurantes, cafés e uma paragem de autocarro com ligação a Lisboa, o que torna a localização particularmente conveniente. Uma palavra final para os anfitriões, que foram sempre muito afáveis, prestáveis e disponíveis para ajudar. Recomendo vivamente!

An excellent base for exploring Lisbon, just minutes awayfrom the train station and ferry. Host Rudolfo is very friendly and helpful, communication was excellent. The ground-floor unit (40m²) is basic. The luxury lies in the large, well-maintained garden and XXL swimming pool. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

− 2 burner stove would be nice for extending cooking possibilities

Great place for relaxing holidays in Lisbon

We ve booked this villa mainly because of its beatifull garden and swimming pool. We made the most of it during our stay. We thought that the tennis court was a great bonus. Location was very optimal for such a big city. Shops, supermarkets and fish market are behind the corner. There are many restaurants within walking distance. We walked few times to the beach but ideally transport is required. The service when booking the stay and during was exceptional. We always really enjoyed chatting with Jorge, our host who was very helpfull.

With my 10y old child I stayed for 10 days at Casa das Palmeiras. The communication in advance with Rudolfo was very good and while our stay his father Jorge cared for us. I appreciated the chat almost each day. The main deccision for the accomodation was made due to the pool and tennis court. Due to the deep of the pool we could full enjoy it. The floor of the tennis court is old but playable and it makes fun at all. The garden is totally wonderful. A supermarkt can be reached by feet. Towels were provided and it was very clean.

− The kitchen is not equipt appropiably for cooking. Only one hot plate is available. Therefor it is necessary to go to restaurants for dinner.  Bathroom and shower are divided nonetheless the bathroom is small. It's fine for brushing your teeth, but it's tight for everything else. A car is necessary to reach the public transport to Lissabon, for the beach or for most of the restaurants.

Peaceful, and very welcoming. Shops around that have absolutely everything, location amazing!

The garden is really pretty and makes for lovely photos and time to relax. The pool is amazing, it’s big it’s deep so you can swim (would only advice you take care as it goes quite deep, 8ft +)

− Not really a dislike but the ceiling is quite low, I’m 6ft and my head was a couple cm away from the top, but again that wasn’t a problem at all. Only thing we didn’t really like was the door to our apartment/villa doesn’t have a lock, so at anytime anyone can come in and by that I mean random people at night as it doesn’t have a lock! Final thing was that during our stay we had to leave for an entire afternoon due to gardeners being there, and although that was fine with us it would’ve been nice to have some notice on this.

The host was very friendly, met me when I arrived and showed me all around. The garden is beautiful and there are many nice places for morning coffee nearby. The market and supermarket are near and it takes about 10 minutes by car to go to the beach..
