Overall, it was very unpleasant stay.
1.0− This was a case of false advertising, as we were unable to access the resort pool shown in the pictures. The property was not properly cleaned, especially the linens. What I found on the linens of the broken sofa bed was extremely revolting. The air conditioning in the main bedroom did not work properly, and it was almost a 40°C day. These issues were mentioned in previous guests’ reviews, yet they have still not been resolved.

Beautiful spot but lacking in many ways.
6.0The good parts. The location. The bush setting was beautful. The kitchen was well equipped. The staff at the Bistro in the Resort were all very friendly and accomodating. Outdoor deck was a nice spot to sit and enjoy the view.
− There was a change in ownership of the property after initially booked. This was poorly communicated. As a result of this change we were unable to use the resorts pools. The whole check-in process was poor. The owner uses Airkeeper. The staff on the other end of the phone was rude and unhelpful. Once in the property is was quite nice. We asked for sofa bed for 5th guest and it looked like it hadnt been freshly made. The air con in the main bedroom didnt work properly. There were broken sections of the railing on the balcony which would be extremely dangerous for families with small children. Property has so much potential but was dissapointing for us. Please be aware there are alot of stairs. Not good for people or children with mobility issues.

− The property is huge and sprawled out. So you have to travel by vehicle as walking takes too long.
Will call directly in future to book a room at Cypress Lakes
3.0− Prefer non personalised rooms - did not realise that we booked premises outside the control of the Cypress Lakes management We have stayed at Cypress Lakes many times over 20 years(?)
