Nice please to chill out after a day’s work

Feel mislead about the property and they took our deposit

The images make it look like a great place to stay..

− We left a night early because what the listing doesn’t say is that there is an annex that another family were in and there was just an internal door diving you to you can hear their coughs, sneezing and chatting. Was told it was a private garden but the family were out there and it’s not remotely divided so we couldn’t be out there relaxing at the same time. Felt unsafe being in the property knowing strangers were effectively in the house too. Absolutely should have been made clear for the listing. They also stole from our deposit and said we had broken the door to their washing machine. We were in and out of the property less than 24hours so absolutely no need to use a washing machine. And obviously it’s not something you check when you arrive so it was their word against mine. The messages after were so rude. Really didn’t enjoy this stay. When I asked about the hot tub, they said they needed more time to arrange this (which is fair as we booked last minute) but again, no mention of this on the listing. We booked it for our kids to enjoy a big private garden with a hot tub and that’s the total opposite of what we got. The lock on the downstairs window was also broken so it didn’t feel remotely safe which is why we left after the first night and there were cigarette bits in the flower pots.

We had to wait until over an hour passed the 3 pm check in time for the cleaners to finish. Not good when you have been working six 5 am.

− I am still waiting for a response from the property about the £200 deposit that was sprung on me at the last minute. I've had no repayment and no reply to my emails.
