The farmhouse was very pretty inside

− TV not working, had to bring a new one No gas and faulty gas bottle No place to put smalls Pool was over chlorinated, realky strong smell Plants were dead or dying I side and out They dug up the road right in front of our front door to lay pipes for 7 out of 8 days, till 7 at night. water and muck flowed into the house We were very distressed with the noise and dust all week. They should not have booked out the house if they knew it was going to happen.

A perfect property in a lovely location

The property was clean, airy and comfortable. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. The kids loved the pool. Walkable to village. Just a lovely atmosphere

Peacefull bliss

Very comfortable, rustic with a beautiful roof terrace. We wanted peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got. Public transport to the more lively Victoria is frequent, quick & easy if you’ve not hired a vehicle but there’s only one restaurant & bar in Sans Lawrenz for those looking for a more. There is a small grocery shop open in mornings and early evenings otherwise and a larger food store about a half a mile or I’m (Not wanting to hire a vehicle, we walked it there & got a taxi back loaded with shopping). We couldn’t get the oven to work (hobs did) but we had mainly planned to eat out. We couldn’t get the safe to work either & although Marvik was on hand (nothing was too much trouble for him) we were content with another arrangement to safeguard cash, cards & passports). Some people might not be however.

Good for adult only groups rather than young families

Beautiful apartment. Really elegant and Tastefully decorated and comfortable rooms . Would suit an adult only group. Parking was quite easy and only a 10 minute drive to the centre of Gozo and Lidl . Kitchen was quite well stocked although a grill would be useful. Air conditioning was in each room although not needed in may as the apartments were lovely and cool. 10/10 for elegance

− I've never stayed in a place with so many rules. My children compared it to Wonka's scrubbits. It is unreasonable to say that you can't wear sunscreen when using the pool or risk being fined. There are extensive terms and conditions to sign before they give you the entry details in addition to the security deposit. It's understandable that the owner would want the property looked after but the amount of rules was excessive and unwelcoming (there's a fine if you use netflix but don't log out, a fine for uploading a picture to social media etc). The apartment is suitable for adults or families with children over 8 but not for younger families due to the steep ladder through the trapdoor to the bedroom and the alternative entrance being next to the pool area.
