So close to wonderful - if a little extra thought
7.0The property is beautifully situated on the beach, and within easy walking distance to center of village of Maruggio. Very nice, relaxing location. There are three stories; we occupied two of those stories. The 3rd story was rented to other tenants. Three bedrooms (two up/one down) had air conditioning. 4th downstairs bedroom did not have air conditioning. For our two floors - one shower bathroom up. Two bathrooms downstairs. Comfortable beds and home.
− For small effort and maybe €20 euros “investment” per day (or less) in tenants comfort, this could be an incredible property stay. There is no “guest guidebook” with pictures and narrative (you could translate with any camera translation app) - so you have to hunt for things like beach umbrellas - or call and ask. The closest (larger) grocery is 30 minutes away (a LIDL). Hope you thought to bring auto dishwasher tablets and washing machine soap. The landlord did not provide any. No courtesy bottles of water (even a couple). Made our own beds on first night - with all flat sheets. Basically you’ve rented a very well located - and comfortable - home, that is empty of any supplies you need. Sure, you need your bring your own food - but dishwasher tablets or washing machine soap? You’ll have a lot to take home. Clothes dryer - one of the air racks was broken. Gate to go out to beach - lock would not work. Probably salt water environment. Periodically tested? It’s the little things.

What could be better than staying right on the beach?! My husband and I were in pure comfort & joy!
10.0It was right on the beach! We walked from the Villa right onto the sand! Unbelievable view of the ocean! The water was warm and we felt such relaxation as we enjoyed the Villa and the beach. Truly Magical!
