We had a fantastic stay at Il Mulino. It is a very charming, quite house (a former mill), equipped with everything that is needed (including barbeque), clean, warm and comfortable. Paul and Sofia are really nice and friendly hosts, always available for any questions and giving us very helpful tips about where to eat, what to visit - which we also did and have enjoyed very much. The location is a bit outside of the nearby villages, therefore nice and quiet and very good for day trips to many beautiful cities like Arezzo, Cortona, Perugia, Assissi etc. (most of them at around one hour drive). We arrived rather late on a quite cold day and were welcomed by Paul with cozy, warm fire in the two stoves, which was a bliss after a long and tiring drive. All in all, it was one of the best and most relaxing stays we had in our many trips in Tuscany. We can wholeheartedly recommend to visit this really beautiful place - especially if you are looking for detachment from everyday stress. Thank you Sofia and Paul!

magnifique maison / ancien moulin rénové. entretien parfait des alentours et tous les equipements necessaire. Accueil parfait et grande disponibilité de Paul avec des suggestions sur les visites et la gastronomie locale. endroit tres calme et facilement accessible. tres grande piscine cloturée , vastes chambres avec salle de douche tout a fait conforme aux photos

Sofia and Paul are the perfect hosts. They live right next door and are very helpful yet discreet. The house is an impressive historic villa, with three bedrooms each with a bathroom, a beautiful kitchen with a large dining area, and a living room on the first floor. The house is in an absolutely quiet setting, and there's also a fantastic, very clean pool.

A traditional Italian villa. Host on site was available but not overly imposing. Swimming pool and general space to play around.

− Not the cheapest for a summer vacation but overall was well worth it.

A stunning location in the Tuscan countryside with a fantastic pool. Friendly, welcoming hosts (on site but extremely discreet) who speak English and who gave us some great recommendations for places to visit and eat. A couple of supermarkets within a 20-25 minute drive and a well equipped kitchen for self catering. Lots of child friendly features including gates pool, stair gates, toys, bed guards and cutlery). Close enough to lots of lovely places to visit such as Arezzo, Anghiari, Lake Trasimeno, Cortona, with Florence and Sienna do-able in a day.
