Great location, but well overpriced
2.0Marina was waiting for us when we arrived at the Villa with the keys. Explained almost everything with regards to the villa. Location of the Villa was great just off the main road but fairly quiet, and just a couple of minutes walk to the chemist, supermarket and restaurants
− Unfortunately we were not advised that the cleaners would not provide us with toilet rolls once the first and only ones were used!! So another expense we weren't expecting (I appreciate not expensive, but that is not the point). Shower curtains were in a bad state, with mould but to be honest they were both changed once we advised the agent. No knives for spreading butter onto toast/bread, so we went out and bought a couple. If you wanted to stay in and cook one night, eg Spaghetti Bolognaise, there was only 1 milk saucepan, so not big enough. Cleaners took a pillow case off for washing but did not replace it. The pillow protector was disgusting and basically looked like it had never seen the inside of a washing machine. Mattresses on the beds were rock hard and not at all comfortable. Hot water gained from an immersion heater (why no solar panels?) and the tank must have been tiny as you couldn't have a proper shower as not enough hot water to last. No hot water in any of the sinks - bathrooms or kitchen. No air con in the living/dining/kitchen area so got very hot. There were 2 pools in the complex but no sunbeds!!! Sunbeds were on your veranda but there was no way you were taking them to the pool as too heavy. Plus we had a 2 bedroomed villa, with only 1 sunbed!! Surely there should be 4? We believe that the villa was well over priced for the time that we stayed there and for the area.
