The house felt like a home away from home in the mountains. We will be back again.

7.0We enjoyed the outdoor screen porch (see below). We enjoyed the fire table. View is beautiful. Both the king bed and day bed were very comfortable. Sofa is very comfortable. Bathroom/Shower were nice. Property and Community are beautiful.
− Ice maker in fridge doesn’t work and has messages about needing maintenance months overdue. Given the remote location, not having ice is a issue. It often made extremely loud noises. Screen on door to screen porch is badly damaged which meant bugs easily got in defeating the purpose for a screen porch. Dealing the the corporate management company was less than ideal in terms of responsiveness and communication style.
I will never rent from Legacy Vacation Homes again.
1.0Cabin was cute and comfortable but not where I was expecting it to be based on the google map on the booking.com website.
− Where to begin!! The cabin was miles over paved and unpaved roads from the booking.com google map. The renting agency required a contract and deposit in addition to the rent. The contract process was complicated and intimidating, the rules were overwhelming and the penalty fees were terrifying. A new address was texted (the only type of communication they allowed) after the contract was signed and the deposit was paid and the only directions given were "use your gps". If you have no gps, then you are on your own; no help from the rental agency. I asked for a map with directions and was sent a layout of the lots in the cabin's subdivision with no hwy #s or street names. Two nice people helped me find my way before nightfall. It has been a week and I am still waiting for my deposit to be refunded. Still no response(text) from the rental agency about that either.
From ease of booking, great mountain air, cozy fire pit - everything was better than expected!
