10.0We were met by the hosts Electra and Irini, despite it being quite late in the evening! They showed us around the house, took us to the shared pool, but also, it was extremely thoughtful that they had prepared so many things for our baby girl - a cot, a high chair, blankets, pillows, some toys. There was also a wonderful selection of fresh fruits and the fridge was stocked with mineral water and some yoghurt suitable for our baby! The house is wonderful and is inside a forest and the shade of tall majestic trees shields it from the summer heat. The kitchen is well-equipped with your usual amenities. There's a boiler for the hot water and it's quite fast. The house is generally quite a reasonable temperature and we didn't really need the air conditioner. The interior is very nice, and we liked the master bedroom a lot. There were these really pleasant string lights that added a very cozy atmosphere! There is an outside dining area under the veranda. The swimming pool is shared between several properties, but it's also in a nice area among trees. There are plenty of beaches nearby, but you will need a car, because they are a 5-10 minute drive. We recommend "Barefoot" Beach which is next to Simantro Resort's beach, if you're looking for an inexpensive beach with umbrellas, soft sun-beds, shallow waters (that aren't rocky) and a fine sandy beach! There is an allocated parking spot, which is also in the shade. Afytos is about 15-20 minutes by car and is a great place to go for dinner, as the restaurants are open until much later than they are in Sani Resort.. We liked the place so much, that we actually extended our stay! We would love to stay here again!
