Bel extérieur mais un intérieur peu accueillant et des problèmes de fonctionnement

- Espace extérieur très joli, spacieux et bien entretenu - possibilité d'arrivée autonome - Emplacement très calme

− - processus de réservation compliqué: demande de paiement en dehors de la plateforme Booking qui au 1er abord n'inspire pas confiance, paiements à faire manuellement en plusieurs fois et très rapidement. - communication avec la société de location moins réactive que ce à quoi on est habitué avec d'autres plateformes car les bureaux sont fermés une grande partie du weekend (or c'est souvent à ce moment que les personnes prennent possession du logement et en l'occurrence que nous avons dû signaler un problème) - intérieur assez peu accueillant, assez vieillot (pas grave en soi mais les éclairages sont mauvais et les meubles notamment la literie peu confortables) - certains équipements pas fonctionnels lors de notre arrivée: lit bébé cassé inutilisable, clim qui ne fonctionnait pas. Ceci était très gênant avec un enfant en bas âge. - propreté limite, nous avions de grandes toiles d'araignée dans la cheminée - énormément de moustiques. Ce n'est en soi pas la faute du logement mais des moustiquaires auraient été les bienvenues car nous n'avons pas fermé l'oeil de la nuit. Pour toutes ces raisons nous ne nous sommes pas sentis à l'aise dans la maison et avons décidé de la quitter plus tôt que prévu. À un prix si élevé, le minimum serait de s'assurer que le logement est complètement fonctionnel lors de l'arrivée des locataires.

pretty villa and outdoor area, needs updating, better aircon units and beds

nice size for family of 3, outdoor area lovely

− the aircon was set to only come on between 8pm and 8am, we had a toddler that napped for a couple of hours in the day so it wasn’t ideal not having the aircon working in the day; some days the room got to 35oC,also trying to get ready for a night out without aircon was a struggle (using hair dryer etc made it extremely hot and uncomfortable) The aircon units were also very loud and in the main bedroom also kept leaking. I also found the beds very uncomfortable (although I’m used to a soft bed so it may just be me being picky) The villalso had ants everywhere (this was mentioned in the welcome pack and it was advised that all good should be kept in the fridge) but there were even ants on the sofa. We were advised that the villa was within walking distance to restaurants etc but you are in the country and I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking 1 hour (which Google maps showed) into the marina down the country lanes with a child. I also felt there wasn’t very many utensils for cooking, I’m not a massive cook and was just making basic things so it wasn’t a big deal but if you plan to cook proper meals you may struggle. When arriving at the villa there wasn’t any cleaning products, I.e. washing up liquid, bin bags, surface cleaner so we had to buy everything, which I felt a little bit of a waste of money as we only used not even a 1/4 of it so was left there. we also had a problem with the hot water but this was fixed as soon as we contacted booking.com

will return. loved it. people should know that the location is beautiful but quiet remote
