9.0The location in the forest is beautiful, and the house is very clean and warmly decorated inside. Very well equipt with everything you might need. Dirk Jan welcomed us very warmly, and introduced the lovely chickens. Just down the track there is a coffee shop at the camping, which does really good coffee. We would love to come back again for a longer stay, and make use of the available sauna and outside seating!
− We stayed as two friends in separate rooms, so it may have been nice to have some additional bed linens so we could each have two pillows, but that is very much a personal preference! And perhaps a Chromecast or equivalent for the TV, for non-dutch speakers :) we couldn't figure out how to log into our streaming accounts via the TV, but again, this could be just us!

9.0Very spacious and comfortable house in an excellent location for nature lovers. All the amenities one would need are available, we very much appreciated the well equipped kitchen. The large dining table was the gathering center during our stay. Lots of space around the house, a lot of privacy despite the fact that the hosts live on the property. Sauna was a big plus although we didn't use it.
− Minor things: both rooms featured two single beds instead of a double - I'd have preferred to have one room with a double bed and one room with two single beds. And having an upstairs toilet would have been nice, but again this is a minor detail.

8.0The mattress is comfortable, making the place cozy. Seriously the mattress is good. Cleanliness is satisfactory. A fireplace is provided, offering an alternative source of extra heat. The kitchen is clean and well-organized. The location is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxation and unwinding
− the radiator in Bakhuis is not enough, the open design of the bedroom cause the thermal distribution not spreading in adequate manner. Bakhuis has no door, it should be more general designed instead of. Heerenkamer and Bakhuis location are not the same as booking.com. Owner did write in the message.
