⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Villa Bella Elena – A Hidden Gem in Kato Vatheia! Our stay at Villa Bella Elena was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness by Ioannis, who is an exceptional host. He made us feel right at home, was always available for anything we needed, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The villa itself is stunning — spacious, spotless, and full of character. Every detail has been carefully thought through, creating a wonderful balance between traditional Cretan charm and modern comfort. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the balconies offer the most peaceful views over the hills and the sea. The pool area is pure paradise. The water is crystal clear, surrounded by olive trees and nature, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. Whether we were swimming in the morning sun or watching the sunset by the pool with a drink, it felt like absolute bliss. The location in Kato Vatheia is perfect — quiet, private, and surrounded by beauty, yet close enough to Heraklion, beautiful beaches, and local tavernas. It’s the ideal spot for both relaxation and exploring Crete. We left Villa Bella Elena feeling completely recharged and full of gratitude. Ioannis is one of the kindest hosts we’ve ever met, and his hospitality truly made our stay special. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with comfort, beauty, and genuine Cretan hospitality. 🌿💛

Bella Elena is a great property, and Demitris is a great host. He quickly attended to a few issues.

− Two things could have better. Not all the rooms' AC units went to 21C. 23C is not comfortable. Demitris quickly responded and reprogrammed the AC units to all go down to 21C. Demitris was great. Also some of the bedroom doors didn't close properly, so that needs to be fixed. Also, I would suggest that a cleaner come at some point of the stay to empty the trash and clean lightly. We use other home rental services that offer this.

Amazing stay and wonderful helpful host!

Our family of 8 adults and 2 older children had a fantastic week at this villa! The bedrooms are spread throughout so everyone feels they have privacy, and each room is wonderful, with amenities or views. We opted to have the pool heated which was a joy in October, we swam every day. The kitchen has everything you need, including spices, and we also used the well-equipped grill area. The views are incredible and the location is convenient and quiet - of course we needed cars to get around but that was what we wanted. Most of all we were impressed with Dimitris and his team, who don't live onsite but are always available to help via WhatsApp. Any issue was fixed immediately and they answered all our questions, including in the week before the stay. Dimitris also helped with recommendations and arranged a boat cruise which was absolutely perfect. It was wonderful trusting him and not having to research this ourselves. I cannot recommend this villa and Dimitris highly enough!

The property was so stunning! It looks just like the pictures if not better! We had so much space and the pool was wonderful. Also the property manager Dimitris was so kind and helpful! He really assisted with everything. Finally we went for my bachelorette trip and when Elena found out she made homemade special Greek and Cretian wedding pastries for our entire group ❤️ I really cannot recommend a better place to stay in Crete! I’m already looking forward to my next trip back

Wat mij het meest beviel was het zwembad en het uitzicht, deze is geweldig ! Je kijkt over de zee en de bergen !

− Er waren een paar mankementen maar dat is gewoon wat achterstallig onderhoud. Maar daar word gelijk iets aan gedaan als je er iets over zegt.
