A Perfect Escape at Villa Lunea, Crete Our stay, with friends, at Villa Lunea was fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the villa’s charm, peaceful setting, and the warm welcome we received. The location is ideal, tucked away in a quiet spot yet just a short 5 minute walk to the lovely town of Kalamaki, with its beautiful beach, great beachside restaurants, and relaxed friendly atmosphere. The villa itself is clean, stylish, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether we were lounging by the private pool, dining outdoors, or enjoying a quiet evening in, every moment felt like a a holiday should. There were lots of great places to eat with beautiful food but a special mention to Pita Grill in Kalamaki, a fantastic, affordable spot for delicious local food, with the option to eat in or take away. I also have to mention our fantastic host Nikos, who was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit. He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt right at home. For those wanting to explore further, the stunning Chania Old Town is just a 20 minute drive or bus ride away and perfect for day trips, shopping, and soaking in the history and vibrant atmosphere of this beautiful city. Villa Lunea was the perfect base for our Cretan holiday. We left feeling relaxed, well cared for and would highly recommended!!

Couldn't recommend this place enough, loved everything about this villa from arrival to leaving and hopefully will return and stay again!! Host was very welcoming, ensured we had everything we needed and helped in every way he could including recomendations and ideas on what to do and where to eat etc. The place speaks for it self, amazing villa and location and with 8 of us there and it still felt very spacious!!

− There wasn't anything we didn't really like, maybe the cloudyness on a few of the days but we can't blame the host for that!! Guess the only thing would be that if your all the way downstairs you dont really get signal, although the host is sorting out a router for there.
