Our stay was relaxing. But as all monasteries were closed, we took the boat back to town for a day.
10.0The property was beautiful and well maintained. Having access to old 45 rpm greek records to play on the "gramophone" was a lot of fun. The host provided bottled water and breakfast elements in the fridge, as there was no store on the island.
− Unfortunately, only one (out of many) of the monasteries was open for a visit - the Monastery of Philanthropenoi. The church was extraordinary. But it was not opened for us immediately. We had to wait until a group came - by chance - and then we were given access with them. This is a problem that the hosts are attempting to resolve.

Please note that guests will need to take little ferry from Ioannina to get to the property and this journey lasts 9 minutes.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
