We fell in love with the villa immediately and wished we could have stayed longer. Phillip was the perfect host.

Location is peaceful with stunning views over the coastline. Property was clean and was well equipped and lots of space for a group of 6.

The en-suite in the main bedroom is on the small side but perfectly adequate. All the other features more than compensate.

Villa Alkionis was an amazing place to stay, the views were the beautiful!

10.0

The outside area of Villa Alkionis was amazing, we spent many evenings playing darts and chess. The views were the best we've even seen, we didn't want to leave! The villa was very comfortable and was a real home from home. We were a short drive from Skala where there is plenty of places to park to go out to eat.

We couldn't fault it!

Perfectly peaceful villa with so much space and views to die for.

The views, the space, the privacy - ingredients for a wonderful holiday! We had a fantastic week at Philllip's villa. He very kindly picked us up from the airport and allowed a quick stop for supermarket supplies as our car wasn't being delivered until the next day. The villa is everything it looks in the photos. Quiet, secluded, private, spacious and with plenty of activities to keep teenagers occupied. The dart board and table tennis were great, as was the pool of course. There are a very sweet family of cats living around the villa, with tiny kittens. We also saw the goats hopping around the rocks below us a few times. There is a very rough stepped path down to the waters edge (definitely bring rock shoes if you want to attempt this). The first time we went down, we were lucky to see a turtle go by, but it was too rough to swim off the rocks. The next time we went down, it was calmer so we jumped off rocks and saw lots of fish while snorkelling. The location is great. It's not walkable to any shops or restaurants, but both Poros and Skala are less than 10 minutes away. We loved Poros, especially drinks on the rocks at Remetzo Cafe, and meze snacks as Korali, and you must also try the ice cream at Giannakis! My daughter and I went horse riding with Skala Horse Riding, ad loved our sunset ride along the beach. We did one main day of exploring - driving up to Fiskardo in the morning (arriving there at 10am, just before it got really busy with ferries coming in), and stopping at Assos, Myrtos, Zola (unfortunately windy weather meant no water taxi to Fteri) and Argostoli on the way back. The next day we did a half day out to Melissani Caves and Vouti Beach. No hesitation in reccommending a visit to Villa Alkionis to anyone who wants to experience the true relaxation of Kefalonia.

There is AC in all of the bedrooms to ensure a good night's sleep. AC in the main part of the house (or just the kitchen) would have been amazing, but we just got up early to open all the sliding doors and put the fan on to try to keep it cool.

A Perfect Stay at Villa Alkionis – Unforgettable Views and Wonderful Hosts

10.0

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Villa Alkionis. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by the parents of the owner (Hetty and Makis). The villa itself is stunning. Beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. But what truly sets it apart is the incredible location. Perched above the sea, the view is simply breathtaking. We spent hours just relaxing on the terrace, taking in the endless blue and unforgettable sunsets. It really is one of the best sea views we've ever experienced. Whether you're looking to unwind or explore the island, Villa Alkionis is the perfect base. We can’t recommend it highly enough and would return in a heartbeat.

Nothing, the villa is great.

Incredible villa stay near Skala - all you could want and more!

This accommodation was everything you could ask for and more. I was blown away by the Villa and its surrounds. The pool was fantastic overlooking the ocean and there were ample activities and ocean access from the property. The host collected two of my friends from the airport on arrival and was incredibly hospitable. There were food and drinks in the house for us on arrival. We also met the father of the host who was so welcoming and friendly! Couldn't rate this stay more highly!
