Houm Villa Nets♡

Only accommodation I was disappointed with during trip to Spain, we left two days early.

Very basic villa, clean and tidy and did have two bathrooms. Easy to walk down to the beach. Was good to be able to use hotel facilities, although all the hotel staff were confused every time we tried to give our room number. Facilities are great for young kids with pools and basic buffet eating options. Good on a nice day to sit outside at the table and chairs.

− Check in took about an hour as staff member didn’t seem to understand the villa situation, we had no hot water for the first day, the beds are metal and squeak badly every time you move, if you get up to go to the loo in the night you wake the house up! No laundry facilities in the villa (which we expected from the description) you have to use the shared hotel laundry which costs extra. No iron, threadbare towels, no towel rails in bathroom, wardrobe doors are broken, no basic provisions like salt and pepper, dishwasher tablets etc. we checked out two days early and went to stay in the Palma town which was much better.

Modern interior design and good location

Very good location, right in front of the accommodation are several restaurants, stores, a bus stop and 5 minutes walk away is also the beach with the sea accessible. The villa was very modern furnished.

− The description for picking up the key is unfortunately not helpful, we had to call the host several times to find the right address. There were ants in the kitchen and the floor was not cleaned very well.
