A very enjoyable stay
9.0The villa was spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. The air conditioning in both bedrooms was a bonus and much needed. It is very secluded and quiet which is lovely but a car is essential. The hosts replied to our questions very quickly.
− Unfortunately the restaurants in town were not good, which is not a reflection on the villa. We ended up cooking for ourselves on several nights.

10.0Stunning villa. Perfect place to down tools. The pool is outstanding and the grounds have plenty of space for the kids to explore (the swing and fish pond were a big hit). Close to supermarket for supplies. Kitchen has everything you need. Comfy beds. Jonathon, Sandra and Margarida were available throughout our stay for queries (and even very kindly helped return my phone when I stupidly left it behind!). Would absolutely come back again.

9.0Wonderful peaceful location with great views overlooking country side and out to distant sea. Quiet location yet very close by car to amenities such as shops and supermarkets. Good nearby restaurants. Good showers, lovely pool and good Wi-Fi.
− Nothing apart from no shade for car. Sewage pipes in Portugal in rural areas are smaller meaning toilet paper has to go into a bucket to avoid drain blockages but that just means you have to adapt.

− Poor quality bed linen and pillows. En-suite sink tends to back up drains releasing bad smells.
