Překrásná chalupa, plně vybavená, nic jsme nepostrádali. Majitel nám nachystal i krásný vánoční stromeček ❤️

De mooie ligging van de locatie

− Een enorm kleine koelkast voor als je met 7 personen in een huisje zit. Ook is er geen vaatwasser aanwezig. Erg klein vriesvak aanwezig

A nice holiday home, but with a troublesome driveway

The house was more spacious than we thought with 4 bedrooms. The lower floors were cool in summer, and although the upper floor was very warm during the high temperatures, we feel it is probably very cozy during the winter. Two bathrooms, and plenty of windows to open for ventilation. The kitchen was fully stocked. There was a nice little garden with a bbq spot. The host was very kind and welcomed us heartily!

− We read about the parking/driveway (which is steep, gravelled and bordering a busy road) in other reviews but thought "how bad could it be", as we're experienced drivers and drive without problem all over the world. To our opinion, it was indeed pretty bad. With 2-wheel drive reverse-parking and exiting the property from the front made us slip all over the heavily inclined gravel of the driveway. The best option for us (without ruining the car) was backing up the 80km/hr road with one of us signaling outside to the driver whether it was possible to continue without hitting passing cars (which are hard to see despite the traffic mirror across the street; as the house lies on a corner of the road, you won't approaching traffic on time). Afterwards it was a matter of running back to the car in the hopes of not getting hit by traffic speeding around the corner. It wasn't easy to leave the house by foot as there are no sidewalks on said busy road, so we had to take the car for everything - from little errands like groceries to sightseeing. We tried parking our car on another spot along the road but refrained from doing that, as this was private parking for other inhabitants. Admittedly the trouble of leaving the property made our holiday less relaxed than I would have hoped, and despite the nice accomodations it was almost a relief to venture forward on our holiday.
