Great cabin up in the hills

Great location, spotlessly clean.

− At first arrival felt very dated although after a day this didn't really matter.

Cosy countryside cabin for an off-grid getaway

Comfortable living area, well equipped kitchen, lovely views and walks. Lots of games and dvds provided.

− One bedroom is unheated. There was a power cut for half a day during our stay. Wifi and phone signal were very patchy (which we were warned about).

Just the break we needed me my dad and two dogs

The location for walks was brill clean comfortable loved every minute wished I’d booked for longer didn’t want to go home

Clean and spacious. Lovely rural location

Enjoyable stay in rural Cumbria

Chalet located in a rural green area 20 minutes from the Yorkshire Dales and 30 minutes from the Lake District . Nice spacious living- dining area .

− There was some lack of clarity as to whether towels are provided (when we asked for towels the host did provide them) . It would have been nice if the kitchen could have been equipped with some basic cupboard essentials which people possibly do not take with them on their travels, such as salt, cooking oil and a few basic spices . For me the mattresses were too soft but this is only my personal preference

We enjoyed the quietness and the countryside. The kids enjoy watching the cows walk past every evening.

− There wasn't anything really to dislike. I'd only say put a big sign saying turn left through the gate :) Upon arrival instead of going into the caravan site on the left. This lovely home, is on the right.
