6.0The stairs are quirky, although you do need to be careful on them. We also had a lovely little Robin visit us both nights - he/she was very tame and sat on our feet staring at our crisps expectantly!
− Unfortunately this didn’t meet expectations for us overall. The decor is very much in need of a refresh. The sofa smelt ‘funky’, the bathtub had mould in the corner, and the shower flooded the bathroom. The 15 minute walk to the nearest shop/restaurant was more like 25 mins and along a busy national speed limit road. Love the concept and I’m sure it would have made a bigger impression when fresher, but overall was a disappointing end to our holiday. As someone else has stated the lack of blind in the bathroom was concerning. The first thing I did when we arrived was go out the back to find the waterfall I could hear, and turned around to see my partner in the bathroom. I spent the entire stay worrying that our neighbours would also want to look for the waterfall too! Some one way privacy film or a blind would have been great. There is also no mirror to use when drying your hair and no iron or ironing board, and only two coat hangers - these felt like basic things to be missing to be honest.
