Relaxing weekend in a hidden welcoming wee Gem of a site

Very happy to have found this fab wee gem of a site and rental van.We are not into fishing and were just after a break to relax and rest up , this was ideal .Very clean caravan and nearly everything you could thing of that you might need , plenty provision of kitchen goods, bedding,towels and all the basics you would need plus more.The van was very warm and cosy , great layout.The hot tub was lovely and warm and very clean, the situation of the van is so that it feels very private when you are outside - nice little area with the hot tub and picnic bench overlooking a pond with many different birds bobbing around in the surrounding trees.Kingfisher cafe wasa lovely on site - The food was superb and all of the staff we met from the site and the cafe were really nice and really helpful too.

− The only issue we had was with the lid of the hot tub jamming in between the fence and the back of the tub .It took so long to free it that we didn't open it fully again.

Warm temperature inside caravan, and hot tub and Surroundings was nice. I'll surely plan another time.

− The property was not having WiFi facility and while checkout time the lady was already at the door I wish I could get atleast one hour extra . Or it could have 11:00 check out time .

Comfortable but definitely needs a thorough clean and TLC!

There were 2 bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. The area to sit outside was good but only 2 seats. Lovely location near the lake at one side.

− The kitchen area was not very clean. We had to re wash some plates, cutlery and cups and found a pan full of old water and sweetcorn in the cupboard. The oven did not close properly making cooking difficult. After the first night we changed our plans to avoid using the oven again! It said it was equipped for 6 people but only 3 spoons etc. There were parts of the decor that had obviously fallen off and an attempt had been made to glue it back on. When draining the water from the bath or sink it was bubbling up in the toilet. Also when running water down the en-suite sink it was coming up into the shower. There was a bad drain smell and we all had bad stomachs following our stay.
