− Mal olor en pieza, colchon muy incomodo, la salida del agua en la ducha no tenía bueno el "aireador" por lo que tenían la tubería con el chorro directo, no hay agua potable y el bidón que tenían estaba a menos de 1/4 cuando llegamos, habían tenido un error al no revisar bien que quedaba poco previo a entregarnos el alojo pero nos indicaron que más tarde lo tendrían, nunca llegó. Toda la casa es abierta, no tienen cierres por lo que hay murciélagos en el segundo piso, donde aparte hay más camas, lo que es muy poco higiénico, las mallas qué tiene el segundo piso no tienen mantención, nunca se contactaron con nosotros para recibirnos por lo que al ser una cabaña de difícil acceso deberían preocuparse mucho más por eso, en ningún otro alojó nos pasó, (siempre te contactan por interno y te dejan su contacto por cualquier duda o emergencia) nunca nos entregaron un contacto. Nos tuvimos que ir antes y perder una noche del alojo dado que no pudimos sentirnos cómodos, muchos detalles que para el precio que se está pagando no deberían ocurrir. Destacar que una vez se estaciona el auto hay que hacer una caminata de 10 min, subida y camino resfaladoso.
Un endroit magique
7.0La situation en pleine forêt est exceptionnelle. Des animaux se balladent partout autour des chalets. Il y a environ 300, entre le parking et le chalet. Ce chemin est magnifique.
− En dessous de notre habitation il y avait une grande habitation avec un groupe de jeunes bénévoles qui travaillent je pense pour le Jaguar rescue center qui possède les chalets. Ces jeunes étaitentr très bruyants le soirs. C'est vraiment dommage car le lieu est merveilleux !

10.0We loved this place - set out in the middle of the rain forest with little other than toucans, howler monkeys, bats and agouti for company. I admit that if you are looking for a bland, all inclusive resort - La Ceiba may not be for you. But if you you want to sleep in the rainforest then this place is beyond perfect. There's a decent track about 400m long from where you park to the accommodation. It is lit at night - watch out for snakes and you'll definitely see frogs.
− Just a suggestion - you should promote the work of the Jaguar Rescue Center more. We stayed here partly because the money is used to help wildlife - but many people may not make that connection and so may not go and visit the JRC

9.0The location, the wildlife, the lack of traffic noise.
− We arrived after dark. It appeared to be closed and no-one home. We rang the bell but it didn't make a sound so no indication anyone heard it. 10 mins later someone arrived (it's a long way to the gate), having heard the bell, when we were seriously considering having to sleep in the car. An intercom system would reassure callers that someone was coming. Mosquitos in the forest are quite horrendous. Be prepared to hump your own bags 500m up a steep hill!
