Nice house with lots of space. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Nice garden enclosed with fence, helped to keep our Yorkie contained.

− In evening and night the place was very cold. In the living we used the fireplace which was nice, but rest of the house was still cold

− House was a little cold. Minor issue - we like to clean up the kitchen but could not find kitchen towels to dry the kitchen goods we used, maybe put 1 or 2 dish towels in kitchen.

The place is cozy and clean. It has everything you need. The host is very friendly.

− Some people might not like the fact that it is a bit out of time, but I loved the peace and quiet.

Loved staying at this countryside house in rural Western Cape!!

This three-bedroom place with its farmhouse-chic feel was well situated for us to attend a nearby wedding, while enjoying privacy and silence away from the other guests. I felt extremely safe, went for long daily walks on my own. The owner is obviously an artist and the artwork featured throughout the house was an extra bonus. Also loads of interesting books provided to read! I can strongly recommend this place for anyone who needs to be near Tulbach.

− There wasn't really anything I didn't like! But if I can make one suggestion: maybe provide mosquito repellents in the house. Visitors like us, coming from the UK, don't realise how vicious the countryside mosquitoes can be until we wake up covered in bites!
