10.0The cabina is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Great to meet and talk with the host about the property and his coffee growing efforts. So peaceful and relaxing there. Also, a steep paved shortcut straight up the mountain from the cabin to the Poas Volcano entrance.

2.0The view was nice to San José. Close to Volcano Poás by car. The breakfast prepared by the owner was delicious. The owners were nice.
− Bad value for money. The house wasn't cleaned properly, I started to clean the bathroom when we arrived and there were many spiderwebs everywhere. There wasn't hot water in the bathroom (we were told that there is hot water only in the shower, but unfortunately it was rather cold). There was an ant attack in the shower - the owners said that in a mountain house it is normal because of the rain, but we had stayed before in other mountain houses and never ever experienced a similar thing. We could not sleep (it was quite cold and no heating was in the house, the bed was not comfortable and something was making noises inside the walls..). So finally we decided to only stay for one night.
