10.0Dave & Anne were perfect hosts, informative but not intrusive. The location was ideal for the Ravenglass Railway.

10.0I loved the construction of the cabin. The wood was very thick and the cabin was quite shaded so it was surprisingly cool for the record breaking temperatures. It was very well equipped and roomy. The village was very quiet and peaceful especially compared to the more touristy places in the Lakes. It was a 3 minute walk from the Ravenglass railway and there were some great long sandy beaches within a half hour drive.
− One small gripe was that the duvet was too thick for the hot weather, but really that is a very minor issue and I would definitely go again.
Beautiful wooden cabin in lovely area
10.0The cabin was much bigger than expected with everything you could need. Several places to sit outside to enjoy the lovely weather we had during our stay. Lots of walks and activities on the doorstep. The cabin was very quiet could only hear the bird song most of the time when sitting outside. Our hosts were lovely and gave us tips about things to do in the area. Definitely would return when in the area again.
