Emplacement, équipement . Le propriétaire a fait un geste en nous mettant les draps à disposition gratuitement.

− Paiement par virement au préalable, on nous donne la liste des choses qui ne sont pas comprises dans la location (sauna, barbecue) et du fait que la location est propre et qu'il faut respecter le calme du site, comment faut il le prendre ? Avec tout ça, le 1er abord n'est pas idéal. A ce prix, il faut encore louer les draps et prévoir du papier toilette. Matelas pas assez fermes.

Very nice house and location - near the wood and lake. We can swim. The house was clean and enough space. The location is perfect for hiking in Repovesi and the rent of boats is very close. Very good for rest in Finland.

A Terrible hostess- I Recommend NOT To Go There

Karro 2 Cottage was our second destination in Finland, after a great stay we had in Porvoo. We were six people, my wife and Little girls aged 2 and 5 and my wife parents ( 70+), we rented the cottage for two nights. We travel Finland for two weeks from Helsinki till Kuusamo, and the stay at karro 2 was the worst. We didn't like: 1. That I needed to pay in advanced through a bank transfer, and when I had some technical Issue with the transfer the first reply that I have got from the host was: "This room has been used by guests for many years and no one has had any problems, NEVER" (making me feel like stupide) 2. Cottage Location wasn't easy to locate. We used Google maps and Waze in order to find the Location, both directed us to a dead end road near railroad tracks. I contacted the host through Booking chat and in the meantime tried to explore the roads and map to see if I could find the place. The reply from the hostess was: "The booking page has all the coordinates and photos. I'm out of place right now. We sent you all instructions." ( instead of spending two minutes trying to support us, again she made us feel stupid) After I have found the gate to the villa complex, I sent her a picture to confirm: she confirm but couldn't help herself and added the following reply: "for 15 years, no one had any difficulties. Have a nice rest. Read the house rules and conditions of stay." 3. It was HOT as HELL inside the cottage, and there were no windows to open except of 2 windows that didn't have a proper handle. In The middle of August the temp was more than 30 degrees and the cottage accumulated a lot of heat. So unfortunately I "dared" to ask "Is there a way to open the air condition?" that exist in the property and explained that: "we didn’t think it would be so hot..

− Now the worst part after all I have mentioned above was when at the evening the Water stopped coming out from the Taps. So I again dared to ask the hostess: "Hello again.. any idea why there isn’t water from the taps?" And her answer was: "Stop inventing problems already!!! We arrived from there yesterday and everything worked well!!!!! What do you want from us?!" "What do you want?!!! We have never had such an annoying guest! We have our own life and we cannot be your nannies! After you leave, we will check everything! Because everything was in order in the cottage and I have witnesses and a cleaner!!!!" My Answer: "Are you serious ? With me ? I am putting up with you talking like this and answering you in a polite manner… We are 4 people with 2 little girls from a different country and this is how you answer me?" Host answer: "everything was in order and everything worked! Everything is checked! What faucet?! If you are from another country, then we now die here??!" another comment "..." and the finale: "I'll call the police now" "From the very beginning you did not transfer money for rent according to the rules and now you are breaking things in the cottage!" So we didn't shower at the first night. And in the next morning we found out that one of us by MISTAKE clicked on the switch of the water pump that looks like a regular light switch and than the water came back. Except of this place we had great time in Finland we met amazing hosts and other nice people. Do your self a favor and DONT stay at Karro 2 Cottege.
