Our stay at the Chalet was amazing and a truly beautiful experience for our family. The home is wonderful, warm, and welcoming, with everything needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the fireplace and spa pool, which made the comfortable setting even more enjoyable. The hosts have done a marvellous job creating such a special place. We highly recommend it and would love to stay again.

− The house was quite cold when we first arrived and took a little while to warm up, but this was understandable given the conditions and did not detract from our overall experience

Perfect for a romantic getaway, with a luxurious comfortable feel to the home.

Really stunning home, beautiful inside and out. Really close to ohakune and an easy drive to both Turoa and Whakapapa ski fields. The home has a lovely fireplace and a very warm spa just outside the lounge room. Plenty of room to bring the whole family.

We loved the Bavarian Chalet! I had high expectations from the photos and communication with the owners prior to our trip and we were not disappointed. The chalet is well equipped, beautifully decorated and very well laid out to accommodate a large group.

− The only thing that was a bit disappointing, was the spa. We were all looking forward to a hot soak after riding The Old Coach Road but found it was really only a warmish soak which didn't last long as we all got cold!!
