Big place and great location super comfy beds 10/10 it warns up really well and thr hot tub was ready to go right away so that was brilliant, great walk right outside your door for dogs what was really helpful

− Lack of towels 1 towel per person wasn't enough as it was hard to dry them and cleaning supplies I.e a mop or a big brush it was a struggle to keep the floors clean with the dog and mud so a mop would of been handy also there wasnt any outside tap we could wash the dogs feet off , the shower constantly dripped and the bottom of the shower was always full of water what encourage flies also couldn't turn the light off in the bathroom also was only provided with about and 70% full toilet roll and 1 bin bag for 3 days and 2 nights for people... light needed by hot tub as u can not see ...not great

Beautiful lodge set in a lovely location. Very homely feel and comfortable accommodation. Minor issues with not enough cutlery and a missing chair were sorted quickly and efficiently. Loved the hot tub.

− Lack of WiFi was a bit annoying for the teenagers in our party

Really not what we expected

− To whom it may concern, Me and my family stayed from 2-4th August. We are disappointed with our Lodge (Primrose 20) and was not what we expected. * Upon arrival there was no one at Reception and our door was left open with the keys inside * The Lodge had a foul smell of mould throughout. The bathroom especially smelling of sewage * There was a BBQ area advertised on the booking and we had no BBQ area or outdoor space. It felt very cramped outside and felt trapped indoors instead of enjoying sitting outside. Because of this, we needed to use the communal BBQ area, when others had their own. During this time, I fell over in a large ditch and pulled a ligament in my ankle that I am receiving treatment for. My sister went back to the Lodge to get the first aid kit, and all that was in there was a used glove and a leaflet. Also upon speaking with neighbours for help, their first aid kits were also very bare. * The buttons on the hot tub didn't work properly. The temperature buttons turned the lights on and off * Bbq area had sharp disposable bbqs grills strewn on the floor. I moved them. * Generally run down with wallpaper stuck to the wall with sellotape * The cooker dial symbols were all worn away so no way to tell what function was on or control heat to cook. * The place as a whole just seemed run down and not looked after. Several hazards around the place including where I fell over. We do not feel the price of our stay was satisfactory especially receiving an injury from a ditch in the middle of a communal BBQ area. Acknowledgement of the lack of apparatus in the First Aid Kit would be appreciated. I look forward to your reply.

Loved the location, loved the lodges they were beautiful and it was so peaceful.

− The radiator in the bathroom didn't work which wasn't a massive issue just wasn't ideal as we couldn't dry towels properly and I think personally some cosmetic issues like wallpaper ripped in places but other than that these were minor things.

Nice place to go explore the area. Communication with staff could be better, no wifi in the houses.

The hot-tub was real nice, even with colder temperatures you could sit outside and relax.

− Arrival procedure was unclear, there was no-one at reception and the phone was not answered. It turned out that the house-number was included in the name of the reservation, but to us this looked as the address of the park.
