Great escape
8.0Great location and the hot tub was fab. Very comfy
− Needs some TLC upstairs shower did not work great either really hot or cold. Really strange that there is no cleaning stuff to use.
Okay but could have been better.
6.0The area was quiet and peaceful.
− The sofa and chairs and beds were uncomfortable. No hooks to hang coats on. The front door was hard to lock. Shower was not the best either.But did enjoy the hot tub.
Quiet hideaway
7.0Clear instructions and availability of the keys. Nice quiet location although in early Jan I think we may have been the only ones there!
− Showers weren’t great, weak electric shower upstairs is unpredictable. Cooking facilities could be improved for larger groups. Consider making the hot tub area more attractive with some lights maybe?

− No information pack, double bed needed a new mattress and the dining table chairs need to be reupholstered.

5.0Cabin was clean, and the recent paint job was still smelling. Bathrooms, especially the tiny shower, could do with replacing... overall was just ok...
− Tiny shower and tired bathrooms There's a nail sticking up in master bedroom adjacent to bed Public footpath through the site was blocked off, not good....

− Not well maintained. Insufficient hot water for 8 people. Dog hair all over rug. Chairs need replacing. Lodge very tired looking.
