Right on the sea

Cosy place. The view was amazing, we saw many whales! Nothing beats falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. The house was well equipped with the necessary cutlery etc. We were also happy that we got to use the dstv to watch the rugby.

− There was only a bath, an indoor shower would have been preferred, especially for older people who may struggle to get in and out the low bath. We were glad there was only 4 of us - 6 people would of been a squish in the house. I would also recommend leaving more than 1 dishwashing tablet for a 2 night stay (however very grateful for a dishwasher!)

The location is very special. The house is well equipped with everything you would need. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The easy lock up and go style with an easy check-in process. The wifi is super fast, not that you need it. The outside shower was awesome. The braai area was set up and all the necessary equipment was present. The sound of the ocean permeates through the house, hypnotizing the senses. We enjoyed walking through to the Eersterivierstrand side, accessing it through the side gate and walking along the beach. You can visit the Blue Hole sea pool and the main beach. We also stumbled upon the "wandelpad" which is a beautiful hike through the hillside forest, providing wonderful views of the small village and the vast ocean. We saw various buck on the path and managed to catch some of the enthralling colours of the sunset, glistening off the ocean surface. A magical stay.

− If I were the owners I would put in warm white lights, the cold white lights mar the place feel cold.
