10.0Guesthouse/cafe with a unique concept - chic design, art studio aesthetic, & no photos inside (to encourage more present awareness & meaningful connections). Seemed to be quite popular amongst the guests/staff - many came just because of this! The common spaces in the lounge & cafe were thoughtfully designed, with board games & free snacks/drinks provided. Seems to be the cheapest accommodation in the Lake Togo area & is a great base if wanting to explore the famous local sites (Kurayoshi city, onsen, Mt Mitoku/Sanbutsu-Ji). Free laundry & one of the few hostels with a free bath provided (on reservation basis). Sunset by the lake was amazing every evening. There were some longer term guests staying & I really enjoyed the encounters made. Very affordable & highly recommended! May check out their sister acomodation in Tottori next time.
