8.0The lodge was very homely and comfortable. Everything that was needed was there. Nice homely touches. There is a family of ducks that come up to the back door in the morning and around lunchtime. Bird seed would be nice for them.

1.0The lake is lovely.
− The accommodation is not as advertised and definitely can not accommodate 4 adults. It was particularly dirty in some areas and no lock on bathroom door. Lights don't work in some rooms. Paving into the door is loose and dangerous. I don't think the windows or frames have been cleaned in ages. Loads and loads of cobwebs. Decking uneven and rotting in some parts and was filthy. No place to hang towels in bathroom and all hooks in bedroom were broken. It advertised as 2 single beds and 1 double, this is untrue it is a pull out tiny bed and a double. Extremely uncomfortable beds and you can't move in the room when you pull the small one out from underneath and basically sleep just above the floor. The mattresses need replacing and bedding is very old and bobbled. It's a very old place that needs alot of TLC and fixing. Paid £248 per night for this tragedy. Definitely not worth the money. So disappointed as this was for my Dad's 70th and it ruined it.

4.0It is close to the lake and entertainment facilities.
− It was very tired and needs some tlc. Back door was hit and miss if it locked. Big parasol was broken. A couple of dining chairs were broken/wobbly. WiFi was in and out all weekend.

9.0Lovely location with view of lake and a dedicated parking space by door of lodge. Lovely and spacious and great bee theme throughout. Good size bedrooms, lounge/diner area. Welcome starter pack very thoughtful.
