10.0The hostel has a really friendly, social atmosphere and the staff make you feel welcome from day one. The daily surf sessions is a highlight. Would definitely stay again.

10.0I had a really great stay at Wake Up Weligama. The hostel is super welcoming and social, with clean rooms, AC and hot water. The upstairs common area is amazing: a huge sofa, always windy and cool, perfect to relax and meet people. Big thanks to the volunteers (Abi, Lotte and Lea) for making everything so fun and friendly with surf sessions, dinners and nights together. As a solo traveler, they made it very easy to feel included. Also loved the two dogs, Blacky and Brownie. Highly recommended!
