10.0Base Camp was the perfect place to start and end my Alaska adventure. From the moment I arrived, it felt less like checking into a hostel and more like being welcomed into a community of fellow travellers. The staff are genuinely fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to put travellers at ease from the very beginning. The facilities were super clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the communal spaces made it easy to meet people or simply unwind after a long day on the trails. Fair warning: this is one of those places that has you looking at flights back to Alaska before you’ve even checked out. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Hostels are uniquely different from a hotel in that guests share dorm rooms for sleeping as well as common spaces.

Please note that a major credit card is required upon arrival. A debit card does not qualify as a major credit card, and will not be accepted.
The female-only and coed dormitories have 2 bunk beds in each room (4 beds total).
The property does not assign particular beds to each guest, and cannot guarantee you will receive a bottom bunk. A top bunk would require you to be able to climb a ladder to the upper bed.
