Lovely hostel in a great location with friendly staff.
9.0Location is wonderful, although not particularly near the local shop, but OK if you have a car. It is peaceful here and the grounds and ambience of the area are wonderful. The hostel evening meals were good value for money.
− it would have been nice to have a basin in a cubicle for a private basin wash. Shower was the only option for this. But that is not really a big problem.
Fantastic, little festival next door, football in pub , swam in river, met new friends.

6.0Location is great for walking and a really affordable place to stay for a solo traveller
− The kitchen had closed at 8pm, for a late arrival its not ideal as there is nowhere else to eat
