Perfection in the Kiso Valley
10.0Hostel Yui-an reminded us of being in a Studio Ghibli set. The artistic touches , incredible collection of books and connection to nature made leaving this beautiful space hard to leave. Our stay here was sandwiched between two traditional ryokan stays and our entire family enjoy the variety that this space added to our visit to Japan. The meals were delicious and made with great care. The host family is welcoming and kind. If you are discouraged by it being out of the way, don’t be. It is worth it and the hosts make it possible to get to/ from the Nagiso station easy with a shuttle. We walked from Magome and though long, that was our preference and it could have been shorter if we’d taken the shuttle.

8.0Une maison comme dans un rêve japonais. Très belle atmosphère. Les propriétaires sont charmants et le cadre est magnifique. Je recommande vivement.
− Seules les classiques toilettes japonaises dénotent dans ce cadre wabi sabi. Des toilettes sèches auraient été parfaites 😄
