10.0The house was really cool and nice. Someone have done a great job refurbishing it. The location was also great, close to shops and the railway station.
Comfortable, interesting, perfect location
10.0What an amazing combination of function, comfort and design. Every little detail was thought out in the property and the craftsmanship in the details of each room made it very interesting. The central kitchen had everything we needed for making our own meals but one night we ate out locally too. The back porch overlooking the river was a great bonus for enjoying our morning coffee. This was a great launch point for hiking to Tsumago and other towns on the Nakasendo Trail.

We had a very special time staying here. It’s a beautiful house, nicely decorated and stunning view.

Great location, house full of character, all the things you need on your doorstep!
8.0When you get the whole house with this much character you know its a good deal. The charm of the place and its location opposite the train & bus station is perfect. The cafe next door for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea or beer to serve all your needs. The local supermarket 2 mins down the road with lots of great treats to cook up once you get back to the Mountainn. The buses across the road take you to all the best hiking spots and bring you back to this ideal location for a few days of adventure on the Nakesendo and around this valley town.
