6.0Very basic, but good value for money and very convenient location by station. DIY check-in a bit unclear. Found a hot water bottle there which was great as I would have been really cold otherwise.

Most hotel rooms have no character, they are all the same. This made a nice change.
9.0It was what I expected from a budget hostel. One expects to share a bathroom, which was fine. Very quirky with all the odds and ends about the place. Would have been nice to see the owner. Other guests very friendly. I am a pensioner but I have used youth hostels a lot in the past so knew what to expect. Very comfy bed.
