What a great experience! Melodie met us on arrival (she was hosting a neighborhood and Auberge gathering out back on the property patio) and gave us the info needed to access our room and enjoy our stay. We stayed in the “Apartment” and it was lovely. After having issues with air conditioning at a previous hotel, we weren’t sure how they were going to cool the 150 year old house, but a portable air conditioner was more than up for the task. The bed was super comfy, the rooms were great and the bathroom was renovated and perfect. We arrived late in the day and after unpacking, went for a stroll around the neighbourhood and down to Le Fleuve where there was a set of stairs down to the rocky beach. An old village with beautiful houses and buildings. An easy walk to the bakery, cafe, chocolatier/creamery, and the old general store which has a little museum related to the stores history upstairs. Don’t miss this stop!

Hmmm. The only comment here would be that the kitchen was a little dark. If you were cooking (we weren’t) it has a great kitchen but the lighting is a little low. Oh, and the pen in the guest book didn’t work and we had packed our bags into the car so we weren’t able to sign the guest book.

The whole albergue is amazing. It's an very old historical house and we all felt like we were in a movie.

Was an impromptu stay but would definitely return and highly recommend

It was a last minute booking and I know the host wasn’t able to prepare for us as she might normally but I certainly wasn’t expecting it. Even though my stay was very short, it was obvious to me what care is put into the place. It was beautifully curated . The bed was so very comfortable with soft sheets. The bathroom is large with two sinks (which helps when it is shared). The kitchen was very clean and seemed well equipped. A wonderful property
