Only good thing was the people i met

− Meant to be a party hostel and barely was, the people made it worthwhile but the staff weren't very social or good at bringing the party vibe. Also was no one at the desk when coming back late, guest had to open the door each time

The property was great location, close to the town and easy to walk around everywhere

− As I had booked this hostel because of their rep as a party hostel, the staff were quite disappointing. Every night they hosted a pub crawl with drinking games beforehand, which turned out not to have any of those games and staff that did not even want to be there. When we arrived at the first bar, it had seemed the staff had left the actual crawl and was only texting the group chat to make it seem like they were doing their jobs. The final thing were our keycards, we could only use them for the main door up until 12am. After that you would have to ring the bell and one of the staff will let you in, however that was not the case. Multiple people were ringing the bell over and over again, and no one was answering the door. One of the guest chose to stay up and let people in as it could have been so unsafe if anything was to happen. They had rung the inside bell on the reception over and over again but seemed as the staff who was meant to be up, was either asleep or was still out drinking.
