Les espaces communs sont très agréables. Super terrasse, super salon et l'emplacement est vraiment parfait.

− Le confort de la chambre est minimal. Le réfrigérateur mériterait d'être plus grand et mieux organisé. Il serait bien de préciser dans l'annonce que l'ouverture des communs n'est qu'à partir de 8h30

Everything is within walking distance, and the hostel was clean

− If you are a heavy sleeper and noise doesn’t bother you, this hostel may be fine for you. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience. I didn’t sleep at all during the night. I don’t know what the other rooms are like, but mine was extremely noisy. Even earplugs didn’t help. The bed squeaked with every movement, and people kept loudly slamming the doors throughout the night. Good location , but unfortunately the stay was disappointing. There is no air conditioning, so the room gets extremely hot and stuffy. It is also very noisy at night because of the street outside and people constantly slamming doors, making it difficult to sleep. What disappointed me the most was the way I was treated by a staff member. Around 12:20 a.m. I wanted to quickly take my own bottle of water from the fridge (hot and stuffy in my room). I wasn’t planning to cook or use the kitchen. I was told that the kitchen was closed, and when I explained that I only wanted to take my water, I was told that I could drink water from the TOILET. I found this comment rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I expected to be treated with basic courtesy and respect.

Taghostel is the perfect place to stay in Lagos. The location is excellent: it’s close to the town center, as well as all the bars, restaurants, and shops. It’s also within walking distance of the beaches and the main departure points for getting around, and it overlooks the marina. The hostel is very spacious, with large, well-organized common areas. It features a beautiful terrace, a well-equipped kitchen, and a very comfortable living room. The best part is definitely the staff. Julia, Filipa, and Raph were absolutely wonderful—always friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. It’s clear that they put a lot of passion and care into their work, making the hostel feel warm, welcoming, and like a home away from home. Everything is clean, well maintained, and easy to use. The rooms are spacious, functional, and very comfortable. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, and each bed is equipped with a power outlet, a reading light, and a locker, making the stay even more convenient.

Comfortable hostel in great location

A really comfortable hostel in the middle of town but just away from the busy area. The women's dorm upstairs has aircon and single beds (not bunks) so it was super comfortable. Very kind staff.

L’accoglienza è stata molto calorosa, la ragazza alla reception mi ha accolto spiegandomi tutte le funzionalità e regole dell’ostello (fornendo anche le indicazioni sui posti migliori dove mangiare in città, sia per cena, colazione e caffetteria). Gli ospiti erano molto rispettosi e l’ambiente molto casalingo. La stanza molto fresca, ma minimal.

− Leggero maleodore dalle docce. Docce molto piccole, ma tanto servono giusto solo il tempo di lavarsi :) Larghezza della stanza minimale (ma per dormire va più che bene)
