I chose this place because it was convenient for my dogs, around is a patio. The Dominican personal is nice.

− Very disappointing and uncomfortable experience I had a very negative experience at this place and would not recommend it, especially if you are traveling with pets. The listing stated that the property is pet-friendly, which was the main reason I chose it. I arrived late at night with my four dogs, small breed, Jack Russel. The staff saw us, said nothing, and allowed us to check in without any issue. At that moment, everything seemed fine — the patio garden was actually a nice feature and suitable for the dogs. However, the next morning the situation completely changed. As soon as my dogs were outside, they naturally reacted to other dogs on the property. Immediately, I was met with a very hostile and aggressive reaction from other guests (mostly German residents). People were shouting things like “quiet” and “leave,” creating a very uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. Shortly after, the owner approached me in an accusatory and rude manner, saying it was “inappropriate” (“gemein”) that I arrived with four dogs. This was shocking, since: the place is advertised as pet-friendly no one informed me of any restrictions upon arrival Instead of handling the situation professionally, I was told to leave. The atmosphere during breakfast was equally unpleasant, with clear negativity toward me and my dogs. At one point, another guest even described the situation as “grausam” (cruel), which reflects how tense and uncomfortable it felt. To make things worse, I was later accused of damage (curtains and window), which I was not aware of at all. If anything had happened, I would have addressed it immediately. These accusations felt unfair and unsubstantiated. As I didn't notice anything what would my dogs do, they were with me all the time. They are well educated. Anyway a dog also feels very well the negativity! Clearly here it was directed towards us!! Additionally, the property itself is quite outdated and poorly maintained.

They had a restaurant right next door and the location was like 4 mins walk to the beach

− The pillows and blankets felt like they weren't washed they were sticky ,it was disgusting, the window were not to secure bugs easily got inside ,they didn't not charge through the website so we had to come up with the money on the spot which we were not informed of

The location: Villa Mar Sosua is the hotel closest to the beach: one minute walk! Additionally, it's only 5 minutes from the Caribe Tours Station. The neighborhood is quiet and the hotel itself is a hidden gem! The charm: The place is rustic and that makes all its charm! Decorations are all made with natural materials like wood, shells and fabrics. I'll definitely stay there again!

− The bathroom towels are very used and need to be replaced
