3.0Clean and the location
− There are many, but not limited to, the uncooperative staff. The hostel offers no services like late check-out, early check-in or luggage storage prior to room availability; in fact, you won't even find anyone willing to listen to your requests. There are no hostel-organized activities, and every additional service comes with a fee. Even the bathroom door in the room jammed shut, and we couldn't get it open without going down to the reception.Furthermore, the uncomfortable metal bunk beds were terrible; climbing the ladder caused me foot pain, and the beds lacked curtains or any form of privacy.On top of that, a $50 deposit was required, and it wasn't returned until I personally went back two days after checking out to demand the refund.There is so much more to say, but this is enough.
Great location, bad facility.
3.0The location is very central. Close to Central Park, the subway, and Broadway.
− Very cramped. The common area was especially claustrophobic and had no windows. Terrible for socializing.
