10.0Location was perfect, right opposite to a lovely lake ,& ideal to go exploring to battlefields, castle, prison & cathedral, the croft restaurant on site had an amazing dining experience, hot tub was lovely & checked every day

6.0Hot tub was fab, all equipment needed was available.
− The bed was extremely uncomfortable. More sockets around the TV areas so use of fire stick etc could've been used. Stool at the dressing table would be nice.
Couple of negatives but would definitely stay again.(just need to take a mattress topper)
9.0We stayed in Chestnut 1 lodge. It is a lovely well equipped lodge. The park is very quiet and very relaxing, with hot tub. The Croft pub was also very nice but can’t comment on food as we did not try it. The grounds were very well kept. The weather was great so stayed on site most of week and found it very quiet and relaxing. Swimming pool on site charged at £5 per swim but did not use but seemed quite popular.
− The biggest downfall was the bed. It was extremely uncomfortable. We used the quilt as a mattress topper and went and purchased a sheet to take its place as weather was so warm. Cleanliness was good but the kitchen cupboard doors needed wiping down and the windows could have done with a clean. Hot tub only had 1 setting that worked but was ok.
