Excellent value. Lovely quiet site beside lake. 15 mins to Bowness. Short walk and set of steps down to the waters edge. We swam a couple of times and it was very pretty. Site was a bit messy in some areas but it didn't bother us, quite like the wildness of mature planting. The caravan was very neat and clean, very warm with heating on. Very hot water (might be a bit too hot in shower for some and we could not turn it down) Beds comfortable. Nice outdoor seating area.

− Found the pictures on booking.com quite deceptive, with pics of hot tubs and multiple double rooms, it was hard to tell what you were actually getting. No hot tub, not even towels, but it didn't matter much. We asked for towels and were told they were not provided but they did give us some thankfully - it did not state anywhere in the communication we received that there were no towels. This could be made clearer. Could do with more cooking and serving implements in kitchen. We could not get the fire to work in the living room, but heating was warm enough when we turned it up. The walls (and roof) and very thin. You could hear a mouse fart at the opposite end of the caravan*. Rain and drippy trees were very noisy. *no actual evidence of said mouse! ;-)

Everything was perfect helpful staff when needed little gifts on arrival milk /box of chocolates/bottle of preseco hot tube was a pleasure at end of the day with bonus jet flyover's booked again for next year before we left 👍

Avon Wood is een heerlijke plek om te verblijven! Zeer luxe huis, erg schoon. Jaccuzi is erg fijn. Omgeving wonderlijk mooi! Van harte aanbevolen!!

I booked a two bed park home as the one beds with a hot tub were unavailable. The staff were lovely, they said I could have a delivery arranged before I arrived and it was put in the home waiting for me.

− I mistakenly thought all of the accommodation lots had a hot tub by going off the images, only one bullet said they didn't and I must have missed it when completing the steps. The bed wasn't that comfy and the shower didn't get that warm.
