− The site had no signs to clearly indicate the location. Thankfully, the locals were really helpful in pointing us in the right direction. What I thought was a back way to houses was actually the entrance route.

Perfect relaxing stay at Herons View
10.0The view and the lodge was beautiful & had everything we needed, I especially liked the covered hot tub nice & private
− I couldn’t let my dog go out on his own without a lead as the garden wasn’t secure enough but that’s only a small minus

10.0Very spacious and clean. The pictures don't do the place justice. Had an amazing stay with my friends.
− The road up to the lodge was full of pot holes but fine when driving with caution.
Fabulous piece of tranquility
10.0The lodge was beautiful and spacious and so well equipped. There was nothing that we could have needed. Even robes and towels were available to use on arrival. Rudyard Lake was a 5 minute walk away, and the cabins were extremely private. The owners were lovely people and on hand to help with anything at any time. Also equipped with machine machine and drier and sky TV.
− The only slight criticism is that the hot tub is not under cover, so was a bit of a disadvantage however didnt stop us using it in the rain. overall, a great stay.
