Hidden gem in Kannur✨

This is my first time stay at Asokam. I booked their Standard room with fan. But there is no need of an AC if staying in this room. The breeze is so much as it is just across the beach. There are mosquito nets fixed on all windows. The verandah is a nice place to relax. The most best part of the resort is their open lawn space. A must visit place to just relax and chill. There is a way made to get into the beach. I was surprised to see an empty beautiful beach. Its the best place to walk in the mornings. I did not opt for breakfast but Mr Radhakrishna was very kind to provide me breakfast. It was very tasy. The entire team is friendly. Overall I enjoyed my stay and cant wait to be back!!

− The front desk focal is little arrogant and not customer friendly. You need to call the receptionist to turn on the geezer every time you need hot water for shower . They need minimum one hour to cool anything. Even a Fried rice .. pool was not clean .

− La chambre qu'on nous a proposé à notre arrivée ne correspondait pas à ce que nous avions loué. Toute petite, on n' aurait pas pu coucher notre valise autour du lit. La chambre était sombre. Pas de balcon, Pas de vue sur la mer. Pas de vue sur le jardin. Fenêtre toute petite et barrée d'un lourd rideau. Pas de vue sur une cour intérieure, Pas de bureau, juste une petite table, Pas de coin salon, Entrée donnant directement sur les toilettes ! J'ai des photos. Pas de moustiquaire, Pas de coin repas, Pas de table à manger dans la chambre. Impossible de faire entendre raison au gérant. Il nous a transférés dans une chambre correspondant à ce qui est écrit dans notre réservation MAIS 200 €. SUPPLEMENTAIRES !!! L'hôtel étant très isolé, loin de la ville, rien autour, à part un restaurant aux prix exorbitants, nous avons étés contraints d'accepter. Le gérant voulait nous faire payer une nuit de plus ! Celle du 12 décembre alors que nous partions le 11 comme prévu dans notre réservation. A la fin, il nous a fait payer les bouteilles d'eau ! 50 roupies alors qu'elles coutent 20 partout dans le pays ! Alors que chaque jour nous profitions de la piscine, il a voulu nous l'interdire pour' "la nettoyer"... Nous avons eu du mal à le faire changer d'avis. Je déconseille fortement cet hôtel aux voyageurs. Il y avait très peu de clients. Que des indiens. Ils repartaient très vite. De plus, le gérant a téléphoné à BOOKING.COM pour leur dire que nous n'étions pas venus !!! Nous y avons bien séjourné huit jours. La baignade est impossible sur cette plage. Panneaux "Baignade interdite" ! Rochers empêchant l'accès à la plage.
