Lovely location

− It wasn't clear that we had to pay extra for leasure facilities at the sight or electricity. Also accommodation had a steep incline to property and there was no parking immediately outside of the lodge. This could be an issue for the elderly or people with mobility issues.

An enjoyable stay in a pretty place, though once is enough

The setting is absolutely beautiful and very, very peaceful. The lodges are well kept, with enough room and plenty of privacy, despite their proximity to one another. We were able to sit out on the front balcony in the sun, listen to the stream and watch the various local animals, including some Alpacas!

− I found the number of texts sent by the establishment throughout our stay to be excessive. They were well intentioned, but a distraction we could have done without and most of the instructions could easily have been replaced with a simple sign, or by being included in the information booklet provided. We would have liked to be able to use the hot tub much later into the evening than 10.30pm. Whilst the water quality check was appreciated, this did require us to get out sooner than we would have otherwise. My biggest bugbear was having to pay for the use of electricity during. Although simply putting coins in a meter is convenient enough, we felt that for the price we paid for our accommodation, we should have expected electricity use to be included, especially as most of this was spent on running things like the fridge, oven and hot water.

Well it was absolutely lovely. very peaceful and relaxing just what's needed sometimes. Staff were very welcoming anything you needed they always there to help and the experience of the hot tub was absolutely amazing aswell as the lodge itself and seeing wildlife and the adorable Alpacas fantastic stay!
