SAMA Jabal Shams Resort is a breathtaking mountain retreat perched on the edge of Oman’s highest peak, offering an ideal escape for those seeking cool highland air and rugged outdoor adventure. Guests can immerse themselves in the dramatic landscape by embarking on the famous Balcony Walk for stunning canyon views or challenging themselves with a hike toward the Jabal Shams summit. While the resort is best accessed by a 4WD vehicle to safely navigate the steep mountain terrain, a round-trip transfer from the Al Hamra fuel station can be arranged at an additional charge of RO 55 per car, accommodating up to four guests. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
